We have recently returned from the Inca Tracks Tour to Machu Picchu with Peru Safari - a unique and unforgettable experience which could not be described as a 'holiday', it was an incredible adventure! We were very impressed with the organisation and attention to detail shown by Peru Safari. Every day was extremely well planned, interesting locations were found for coffee/lunch stops and an excellent picnic provided when there was nowhere to buy lunch. The driving pace was perfect for us, as was the daily mileage covered. Hotels/lodges/haciendas ranged from excellent to the best available in the area and we had no complaints.The ability to self-drive a 4x4 vehicle allowed us the freedom we wanted whist also having expert guides on hand in radio contact in the lead vehicle to keep everything running smoothly. The driving conditions were sometimes challenging and this tour is not for the nervous driver. We saw Peru, not as tourists but as travellers, which is exactly the experience we were hoping for.We finished our trip with an add-on stay at a family-run hotel on the island of Isabela on the Galpagos which was delightful and the perfect end to an exceptional experience.

The customer care was first class from start to finish with a great blend of quality hotels and local accommodation enabling us to experience the real Peru whilst still catching all the must do tourist sites. The ability to tailor the trip to meet our requirements made it a once in a lifetime experience.
